So just a quick update to say at 13 months we have a walker on our hands!! Hold on things are gonna get a little more interesting!!! He walked to the door to meet me tonight when I got home from work and then proceeded to walk and walk some more!! So Crazy!

Can't believe it these last few months have blown by!! Levi had his 1 year appointment yesterday here are the stats: 20 lbs 10 oz (36%) 28.5 in (6.8%)...short and sweet. Plus he had to get 3 shots and a finger poke...bummer. No flu shot due to egg allergy. Ugh. My parents are here to help celebrate my bday!

August!

So much has happened!  I have been fortunate enough to have most of August off!  So fun to hang out with Levi and watch him explore!  We spent the first week and a half up with my parents celebrating my dad's 66th Birthday and then I worked 3 nights and then we traveled to western North Dakota to see Great Grandma Milly and the cousins!!

Teeth!

Not sure if I have said this but Levi has 4 teeth! Agh! Pretty cool though because the top ones look like fangs! Any day Levi will be standing alone!!! He let's go of furniture now (my heart skips a beat) and then falls onto his butt, couple more days of being adventurous and I think he will have it!

9 Months

Last week on the 4th of July Levi turned 9 months old! As we venture into his 9th month I can’t help but reflect on how much he has grown. It’s one of those bittersweet things about parenthood. A part of you is thankful that your little one is healthy and growing, and that their little body is doing everything it is supposed to. And then there is a part of you who pines for that wrinkly newborn, the one that would stay in your arms slumbering to the sound of your heartbeat. Now that Levi  is 9 months old sometimes I look at him and say, “You don’t look like a baby anymore!” Of course, he does, just different than he did at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and even now!  He's growing longer and is not as plump as he used to be, despite still loving to eat. His  personality continuing to blossom. To be honest, I am getting behind on printing photos from the past several months... but from time to time I love to take a trip down memory lane by looking through my iphone or my favorite –Instagram photos!  Thanks to my iPhone I’ve been able to capture tons of moments that might have otherwise been missed because I forgot my camera or it wasn’t within reach.

9 things my 9 month loves:

1. Sweet Potato...I mix it with everything...

2. Looking at pictures in the house,  he points at each pic in our house and smiles!

3. Sanders! Loves the puppy! I hope they continue to be friends!

4. Swimming! He loves bath time, and most recently he has been to the pool...splashing about.

5. FaceTime with Lana & Papa! Sometimes we talk multiple times a day. So cool that he recognizes them.

6. Mommy's Hair =) he loves to run his fingers through my hair right when I pick him up.

7. Laughing at his Daddy. He laughs the most for Scott....not sure why. They talk back and forth and Levi laughs!

8. His green blanket.  Sometimes he will just lay his head down on his blanket when he sees it...so sweet!

9. Favorite thing by far: His Right Thumb! At least we don't leave home without it!

8 months

Levi is on the move! Sanders toys and bed are no longer safe!!! Levi is crawling everywhere!! Love that he can get where he wants but quickly learning I can't put things where I used to. In addition to the crawling he is standing and furniture creeping, my heart stops a little each time he lets go of the couch to sit down, but I'm getting much better! We are hoping the weather cooperates soon so we can take advantage of strolling outdoors!
